Solo Mining Security Basics
The pool never sees your spending keys. Keep it that way.
Steps
- The username is a public address. Never put a seed phrase or private key in the miner config.
- Shielded addresses (zs1 / u1) can connect, but this pool pays those rewards manually. Prefer t1, t3, or tex1 if you want the coinbase payout.
- Keep miner admin passwords off the same note as the wallet backup.
- If a site asks you to mine to an address you do not control, it is not this pool.
