Zcash blocks are fast. Your chance of finding one still depends on hashrate versus the whole network.
Steps
- Decide how long you will run before you judge the result. A few hours is not a sample.
- Pool luck on the homepage is work since the last pool block compared with the work a block is expected to take. 100% means the pool is due. Lower is ahead.
- Your own luck on the address page uses only your shares since your last block.
- Do not retune the miner because one afternoon was quiet. Variance is the product.
